Taco Rico

Any time I hear of a new mexican place opening up in Seoul, I’ll go out of my way to go try it out.  I’ve read some good things about this place, plus they got an actual hispanic/mexican guy cooking there.  This is not the first time I’ve seen this type of operation.  Like 3 years ago, there was this other mexican place in Kangnam called Urbanos, and they had a mexican chef when they first opened too.

7,500

Menu items include tacos starting at 3,500, quesadillas for 6,000, and burritos starting at 7,500.  Fillings include the standard beef, pork, or chicken.  What was really cool was that they had tripe tacos (tacos de tripa) available as a special item.  I don’t think I’ve seen anything like that in Korea yet.

next time I'll ask em not to cut it in half...

I was REALLY tempted to get the tripe tacos, but I’m more of a burrito kind of guy, so I just ended up ordering a chicken burrito.  The burrito was pretty good.  It didn’t blow my mind or anything.  The burrito alone, without the hot sauce, was a tad under seasoned for my liking.  Also, it was kinda small.

Taco Rico’s burritos are so-so, but you need to try their tacos! Best tacos I’ve had in Korea.
